Zarifah had her graduation on August 16, 2009 @ UTM Skudai(oopss .... bukan October ke?)

... and Adik and Kakak turned 14 on Oct 30.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all bapa2 di dunia...Every year kitorang akan sambut Father's Day. This year a bit different becoz ade 2 bapa dalam rumah ni. Abah & Aizul. So, we request for 2 candles for both of them..Previously, kitorang letak 1 candle je..Hope next year tambah lagi 1 candle..hubby sape la agaknya yekkk... :D

Tahun depan part of us akan bertukar saiz...hehe ;P Enjoy.....!!!

My Along Moving Out To Be With Hubby

Along dah confirm getting posted to Sek Men Rantau Panjang, Batang Berjuntai, ooppss.... nama lama tu .. now known as Bestari Jaya (the town was renamed 'cos somebody up there does not fancy the word "Berjuntai").

After some 27 years being under our nose, now she get to be a fully funtional housewife. We'll miss you along, but after giving you away for marriege, we are well prepared for this moment. Tak jauh pun, just an hour drive away.

Apa yang penting, you are on your own now. Cuma satu ayah nak pesan, sentiasa mohon pada Allah to always keep you as happy as in the photo. Moga Allah melindungi dan merahmata kamu berdua. Now that you are together, work harder for my cucu.

Some updates from Ja Mahmood...

Baru2 ni Ja kena pindah lagi. As usual, HeiTech akan hantar staff ke projek2 tertentu. And now, PUTRAJAYAAAAA!!! Huhh...commute from Ampang to Putrajaya sangat memenatkan. 42km everyday plus tol...tu blom campur sesat lagi tuuu...

My start at HeiTech was at Bukit Damansara. It was on 2002. From projek The Royal Mint Exchange, go to Tabung Haji, go to PNB, back to HQ Subang Jaya and now kena gi Putrajaya plak...Now Ja di'assign' ke project MOHE (Ministry of High Education) at Putrajaya. Oleh sebab dah malas jadi programmer, Ja tukar ke Functional Analyst/System Tester. Buat documentations, reports, test system, plan/schedule test with users dan yang sewaktu dengannya... Skang ni tengah usha2 keje kosong kat KL. So, sesapa yang ada offer keje tu sharela yek....daaa daaaaaa.... (=^_^=)

Muhammad Hadif Zuhree..

On 13th May 2009, Yati selamat melahirkan baby boy seberat 3.4kg on 10.25pm, di Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital. Yati masuk labour room about 6:00pm. Picture on the right shows Hadif after 3 hours dilahirkan.

Mula2, Hadif sangat kuat tido. After a week baru dia berjaga and pandai main2. Now, Hadif dah 24 days. Dia dah mula dengar orang bercakap tapi tak sure dia nampak atau tak.

After 2 weeks, Hadif dah mula minum susu tepung sebab Yati dah tak larat nak breastfeed. Pernah 1 time, dia kurus sangat sebab tu Yati bagi dia minum susu tepung. Hadif ni kuat sangat minum susu. Since then, Hadif dah makin gebu and gemok. Sekarang ni pulak dia kena minum susu setiap jam. Terpaksalah Yati gilir2 bagi dia susu tepung ngan susu badan.

On 31st May 2009, majlis cukur jambul dibuat. Thanx to all yang datang. Masa majlis tu Hadif tak buat perangai. Tak nangis langsung...bagus3 (bak kata upin ipin..haha).....

On this coming 13th June, Yati akan bawak Hadif gi medical checkup untuk 2nd injection (lupa lak injection ape). InsyaAllah, dalam bulan July or August this year, Majlis Aqiqah akan dibuat. Plz make your time free on that day. Abah jemput semua hadir untuk memeriahkan lagi majlis. Food confirm sedap!!! Datang3....

Ilah's First Business Card

Yesterday Ilah came home from work beaming ear to ear. Rupanya nak tunjuk her first business card. hehehe

Selamat Ulangtahun Perkahwinan Yang Pertama Untuk Fiza dan Ezani

Happy Wedding Anniversary to both of year. Alhamdullillah, hari ini genaplah setahun kamu berdua diijab kabulkan. Ayah berdoa agar hari hari yang bakal dilalui tidak kurang bahagia hari hari yang telah dilangkaui. Terjamahi kesyukuran kamu kepada Allah s.w.a. dengan sentiasa mendekati diri kepadaNya serta jangan jemu memohon kepadaNya untuk kebahagiaan, kesihatan dan rezeki yang berterusan.

Dalam sesebuah rumahtangga, cabaran dan ujian adalah lumrah. You are both matured adults, hadapi liku liku hidup dengan penuh hemat, hormati di antara satu sama lain dan give and take where necessary. Ayah doakan permohonan pertukaran tempat kerja diluluskan pada semester depan for you to be with your hubby. After being together for 27 years it's easy for ayah dan mak to let you go, but you are married now, kami redha pemergian kamu dan doakan agar kamu berdua terus bahagia. Please be cautioned, you get to see each other all the time then .... the good, the bad and the ugly.....

Congrats Ilah

The company that interviewed her 2 days ago called her yesterday. She was accepted and need to report for work on Monday. Barely two weeks at home and she's out again..... and this time to be in the real world. Congrats me dear, give your best. There'll be a lot challenges and obstacles but ayah positive that you'll bulldozed them all.

Call a driving instructor after on getting your first pay, you need to polish that rusty driving licence of yours.

job interviews

Hari ni jadi chauffer Ifa dan Ilah pergi interview. Pagi pagi bawa Ifah ke Putrajaya untuk temuduga terbuka Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia. Punyalah ramai anak anak yang datang. Di Putrajaya, temuduga berlangsung selama seminggu, dari Monday hingga Friday esok. Mengikut seorang rakan wartawan, bilangan yang datang semalam adalah lebih kurang 8,000 orang. Hari hari lain, agaknya lebih kurang begitu juga. Bayangkan, temuduga dibuat disemua negeri, berapa punya ramai yang bersesak sesak datang untuk berebut tak sampai pun 600 kekosongan (kontrak pula tu).

Yang pelik dan ajaibnya, pemohon diminta mengemukakan sijil PMR dan UPSR (tak disebut pun dalam iklan). So, ramailah yang berduyun duyun balik kerana dokumen tak lengkap. Sijil UPSR untuk kerja yang memerlukan ijazah? Tak faham, tak faham, tak faham.....

Ilah pula pergi interview dengan satu consultant company di Puchung. Should get the answer by Monday. Tunggu lah.

Not really an update.

Basically this spot is meant family members but as I've refered friends here, might as well give an introduction.

Met my wife Zaitun in Kuala Kangsar in 1979 and tied the knot some 2 years later. The family is now made of us, our 5 daughters and son-in-law.

Kelima lima anak aku punya peribadi yang berbeza. Even the the pair of twin, the last two, pun punya kepala yang tak serupa. However, each carries a part of me.

Hafiza, 27, the eldest, married to Mohd Ezani last year is very much into sport and outdoors. She's involved in tennis, hockey, futsal, swimming, aerobic, sailing (at one time) and of course jungles and mountains. On completion of her SPM, the direction was clear, to do Sains Sukan in UiTM.

On completion of her diploma in 1992, she pursued for Pendidikan in the same school, majoring in Sukan dan Kesihatan. On graduation, work a short stint with Malaysian Fitness Council than later took teaching in Sekolah Menengah Pandang Indah, KL. She's one happy teacher now. Mana tak, pergi kerja pakai track suit. Besides ngajar sukan, s he's in-charge of koko and a scout teacher for the school. She is also the Hulu Langat assistant scout commissioner. The scouting part was from me. The sport? I was sprinter when I was in form 1 and 2 but had to give up as my height ceased to increase at 14. On some school holidays, when she's supposed to spend time with her hubby, she took her students for camping and went for the Jamboree in JB. (I was a scout for five years but couldn't afford the jamboree thing). .... should I join the senior scout? My twin who were with Kadet Remaja last year were also lured to join scout by her.

She's still with us in Kajang now, most probably until mid of this year. She had applied to be with her husband who is a planter with Sime Darby Estates near Kuala Selangor.

Mahmood's Family

Just a little update from us....

On Friday, 8/8/2008, berlangsunglah pernikahan Yati & Aizul. Majlis sanding pula was held on Saturday, 9/8/2008. Again, we want to thank all family member yang turun padang...Penat memang penat la coz everything buat sendiri, from hantaran, bunga telur, gifts and food. Tapi penat lelah tu macam terbalas dek berita Yati pregnant..hehe...1st Abah's cucu is commingggggg!!!! Now, Yati dah dekat due. Supposed she deliver this month la..May 2009. 1st date doc kata middle of May, but last checkup doc kata 4th May..it was yesterday!!! Tapi tak jugak deliver...hmmm the whole family tengah tertunggu2...So, doa2kanlah everything will be ok... ;)

Zaitun's 52nd Birthday

May 1, 2009 was Zaitun's 52nd birthday. But throughout the day, nothing happened. No wishes or sms from the kids. Kebetulan hari tu beliau sibuk membuat persediaan untuk kedatangan bakal besan pada malam nanti, so tak pastilah dia perasan ke tidak. She may be wondering tak kan anak anak nya lupa, after all the whole is world on holiday!.

Lepas bakal besan dan keluarga balik, tiba tiba lights went off and out came the birthday cake, ballons, birthday banner, followed with the birthday song from those present. Barulah tersenyum lebar maknya.

Malam tadi keluarga tunang Ifah datang untuk menetapkan tarikh majlis resepsi perkahwinan bakal pengantin. Keluarga kedua belah pihak bersetuju yang tarikh resepsi sebelah perempuan ialah pada hari Ahad 6 Disember 2009. Tarikh resepsi sebelah lelaki pula ialah samada hari Sabtu 5 Disember 2009 atau hari Ahad minggu berikutnya.

Jika resepsi lelaki dibuat pada Disember 5, ini kira memecah tradisi kerana lazimnya resepti dibuat sebelah perempuan dahulu. But memandang kedua belah memepunyai saudara mara dari luar daerah, it seems a better option. Nikah hari Jumaat, resepsi lelaki hari Sabtu dan resepsi perempuan hari Ahad --- sekali jalan. Tak nampak obviuos sangat kerana resepsi perempuan dibuat didewan dan jarak rumah lelaki dan perempuan juga tidak jauh.

Kami telahpun booked Dewan Melati, Perbadanan Putrajaya, tempat yang sama seperti majlis resepsi Fiza dulu. So you out there please take note of the date.

Together Again

Come 2nd week of May, our house would be full again. Zarifah had completed her her final papers while Fadilah would be sitting for her last paper on May 6, 2009. It's job hunting time for both of them.

Hafiza is arranging for a transfer to be with her hubby in Ijok, Kuala Selangor after the school's meet term break in early June. They just purchased a link house in Nilai which is due for completion in two years time. It is in well planned township with plenty of green developed by Sime Property, a subsidiary company of her hubby's employer. Beautiful piece of property, with not more than 100 units per design. Sime had planned to build a research center nearby where hopefully her hubby be able to secure a job. He had actually been offered a position in the reseach center (which is currently located in Pulau Carrey) but his boss did nor release him as they are having a shortage in the plantation sector.

Ini kami sekeluarga masa gathering dan fishing trip ke rumah suami Fiza (Ezani) di estate Sime Darby dekat Kuala Selangor, masa Chinese New Year hari tu.

Untuk makluman yang duduk jauh jauh, from left : Syahira, Ezani, Hafiza, Mak Nyah Zaitun, me, Fadilah, Zarifah dan Nadzirah.

Seronok juga once a while dudok dalam estate.

Brief

Siti Pura, I believed she was the only person carrying that name in the world in the last 100 years or so. The was another before that -- her grandmother.

Ibu kami, Hajjah Siti Pura Binti Haji Karim (1936*-2009) dan ayah , Cikgu Haji Mohamad Bin Hussain (1933*-1996), keduanya dilahirkan di Kg. Darat (Demit), Kelantan di warisi oleh 10 orang anak ; Mahmud, Mohd Zain aka Hamid, Harun, Shamsudin, Maimun, Kartini, Hafilah, Mulyati, Muhazam dan Zamadi. Kecuali Maimun dan Kartini, kami adik beradik menetap di luar Kelantan.

Berhari raya bersama dikampung setiap dua tahun adalah routine kami adik beradik semasa hayat ibu/ayah. Tetapi dengan perginya beliau. saya tidak nampak ini akan diteruskan. Apatah lagi ada diantara kami telah pun bermenantu dan bercucu (soon).

So guys and children, please keep this site active. Keep the family intact albeit being separated by great distances.
